OKLAHOMA ROUTE 66 CENTENNIAL COMMISSION NATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

For my Public Relations Campaigns course, my group and I created a nationwide awareness campaign for the Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Commission ahead of the historic road's centennial in 2026. 

We centered our campaign on increasing the public's knowledge of Route 66, highlighting the unique stops Oklahoma's portion has to offer and encouraging Americans to travel to Oklahoma and immerse themselves in a nostalgic road trip. Our "Big Idea" (Ride the Legacy, Shape The Future) highlighted Route 66's past, present and revitalized future, leaving our clients excited about our ideas and resulted in my group winning 1st place in our class competition for best group.

CITY OF NORMAN APP RESEARCH

For my Public Relations Research course, my group and I were tasked with deciding whether or not the creation of an application would be a viable and cost-effective project for the City of Norman. We spent the semester gathering primary and secondary research in order to gain a better understanding of the city's structure, its government and its constituents.

DESIGNING MOCK COLLATERAL MATERIAL FOR SPOTIFY

For my Public Relations Design course, I designed mock collateral material for the company Spotify. In this company rebranding project, I redesigned the Spotify company logo and colors. In addition, I created a representative business card, letterhead and envelope. These designs were created using Adobe InDesign.

OU HANDOUTS

For my Public Relations Design course, I designed mock handouts for OU Recruitment Services. The handouts targeted two different stakeholders (students and alumni parents), with the aim to try and recruit new students to the University of Oklahoma. The handouts were created using Adobe Photoshop, and the full designs can be found below.

SOCIAL MEDIA PROJECTS

OKLAHOMA PEAK PERFORMANCE VOLLEYBALL CONTENT STRATEGY

For my Social Media Strategies course, my peers and I worked with our client Oklahoma Peak Performance Volleyball and went through a semester-long project to analyze their social media through research, auditing, analysis and more. My group members and I worked to establish a revamped content strategy for Peak, developing a "Big Idea" focused on building engagement for the organization.


Our "Big Idea" was centered around capturing the stories of people, their achievements, club achievements and an emphasis on the players. We surrounded this with complimentary position statements, objectives, personas, strategies, tactics, completed deliverables and more.

MUSIC FOR EVERYONE CAMPAIGN - SOCIAL MEDIA PIECES

For my Public Relations Design course, I created three mock social media pieces for Spotify: a Facebook post, an Instagram post and a Twitter header.


All three pieces represented an integrated PR social media campaign titled "Music for Everyone." The campaign focused on reducing subscription expenses for consumers worldwide for a select period of time. The pieces were designed using Canva, and can be viewed below.
